To print or not to print, that is the question. With the Gucci Spring ‘06 Cruise Line being released we see the use of patterns and prints to take over and give off some tropical flair. While I love the shape of this bag, I don’t find it very practical. Gucci wants to welcome spring with the Gucci Spring ‘06 Medium Shoulder Bag. The tropical print you find of this Gucci bag is labeled the pigna print which looks like pineapples and bananas, but in a sort of abstract art. Yes, my description is lacking a bit, but nevertheless you understand what I mean (and if not you can see what I mean through the picture). The shape of this bag lured me in when I was recently in the Gucci store. Brown leather trim and braided handles set the patterned body off nicely along with goldtone hardware. If you are one of the ladies, much like my mom, who likes a bag to hang comfortably on the shoulder and not “ride up”, then this bag will suit you well. Measuring 13″H X 17″L X 4 ?”W, this bag is cute for spring but to me isn’t completely practical. Then again, who said that handbags are always practical? Pre-order via Saks for $1550.

I must admit I’m a Gucci fan. Gucci was a name I knew growing up, and then became much more known to me with time and my love of fashion. Lucky for all of us, the Gucci Cruise 2006 Handbags are out. There are a few bags that drawn me in, but many play it safe. Sometimes simple and safe is good. But why don’t you all be the judge of this new Gucci line.

The Gucci Small Shoulder Bag reminds me of Botkier with the slanted front pockets. The bag is simple and different for Gucci. The bag looks a bit rockerish with its red leather and blue and red signature web detailing throughout. The dimensions are 11??”H X 6″L X 4??”W. A little off the usual designs of Gucci, this bag is sure to add some crusin’ fun for $1250 via Saks (pre-order).

The craze over the Gucci USA Flagship opening was unprecedented. Many people wanted to see the store, but most wanted to grab one of the coveted Gucci Loves New York bags. This limited edition line of bags are completely sold out, but the excitement surrounding the store still exists. Today we wound down with a trip to Gucci, as it is about half a block away from our hotel. The store is HUGE. Floor one carried many bags, but floor two and three did not disappoint either. The thing is, lately I have not had much love for Gucci. The brand is one of the most recognized luxury houses in the world, and while their ready-to-wear has been amazing, the handbags have been lacking that special touch that I need. The Hysteria line brings a fresh touch to Gucci, giving it the extra nudge that it needed to get me back on board. The Gucci Hysteria line drops the expected Gucci GG logo and brings in the family crest. The emblem adds the perfect touch that is not expected but much appreciated. And with New York being the new US Gucci flagship, the handbag selection is to die for. I have never seen so many exotic Gucci handbags. Everywhere we turned there were ostrich bags, python jackets, and crocodile skins. My absolute favorite was the $300,000 Gucci Crocodile Trunk. The trunk is a taupe crocodile and a stunning collectors piece (not to mention it is the only one of its kind). Going along with the crocodile craze, Gucci took one of its best bags of the season and dressed it up in yellow crocodile, creating the Gucci Crocodile Hysteria Bag. This is unlike any other Gucci bag I have seen in the longest time. The crocodile is buttery soft as it is taken from the belly of the crocodile. The inside is lined with goatskin that is even more supple. In fact, if they could make me a big pillow out of this exact material that would be heaven. This bag had the perfect slouch, the perfect chic feel, and the color was stunning. Only problem (for me at least) is the $37,500 price tag. I love this bag, love it so very much, but the price tag is way out of my range. Instead I could settle with the goatskin version ($1950). Saks also offers a python version for $3990 and a patent version for $1790 via Saks.

Finally. Someone at Gucci has thrown out a life preserver to save their Resort 2008 collection from complete irrelevancy, and that life preserver is the Sukey Large Python Tote. We’ve spoken previously about the fake-tattoo-covered shortcomings of the 2008 group of bags, and they aren’t pretty. The Python Sukey, however, is nothing short of gorgeous. The reason that it works so well is that the shape of the bag is extremely simple and the surface of the python skin is unmarred by exterior pockets, decorative doo-dads, and unnecessary seaming. The python skin itself takes center stage, and the beautiful combination of cream, tan, and brown scales make a perfect fall bag, even for a girl that isn’t that enthusiastic about brown in any form. Bravo, Gucci. I knew you could do it. This bag is so beautifully simple that it almost makes me forget your past sins. Buy through Saks for $3,195.

Just don’t do it again for a while.

    7. Keep wearing American designers, and wear more of them. Oscar de la Renta has been the favored designer of Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, and there’s no reason to resist his beautiful clothes on occasion.

    But Donna Karan is perfect for your strength and curves. Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren make the classic sweaters and skirts you love. Isaac Mizrahi makes a beautiful gown. Diane von Fürstenberg and Tory Burch favor the easy shapes and bold prints you love. Remember, these designers collectively employ hundreds of American workers, and the American fashion industry could use your support right now.

But as soon as you pick up a large tool, your steel toe-caps should be worn. If you’re not used to them, these boots can feel heavy and cumbersome at first, but stick with it. If you’re doing heavy work, you need heavy boots.

6. And last but certainly not least, you must protect your skin. Moisturise all exposed body parts whenever you are woking in the garden, rain or shine. Working outside will give you a nice healthy glow, but the wind and sun will dry your skin given half a chance.

All my school life i have had to wear school unifrom, i remeber when i first started secondary school and it was a non-uniform school i was so excited but then the year i started they brought in a uniform so i missed out on the chance of ever not wearing uniform in compulsary education. And know i am 15 and going into my last year of compulsary they are knocking my school down and replacing it with an academy meaning that we have to wear a posh unifomr consisting of a black blazer, black sleeveless jumper, white shirt, mustard yellow and black tie, black trousers and they are also giving us a school bag that has the logo of the school on it that we have to wear..! And a p.e kit that has school tracksuit bottoms and shorts . Ok so that is bad enough but there is also the fact that the blazer does not fit and makes me look like i am a little year 7 that has just started and non of the uniform fits, this is because the blazer that fitted me in the body did not fit me in the arms and came up to just above my wrist making it look like i had grown out of it lol so had to get the size bigger which fitted me in the arms (sounds good so far right) but it does not fit me in the body and i think you could probubly fit two of me in it if one of me didn’t have arms lol.

The school is also very striked on how you have your hair what your trousers are like etc.. so this got me thinking how can you kae yourself look like you have some kind of style in a school that is trying to clone you? humm…
And i came up with some trousers and shirts that should suit the school and make you look like you are not a little pish cathlic school girl that has never looked in the mirror inn her life lol  x
